QUESTION ABOUT OT DVD SET

I've been looking to get the original OT DVDs (My VHS versions are at least 15 yrs old) I have a box set, but it has the added BS. I've been looking at the box set in the attached link, but I have heard the DVD manufacturing quality was poor ( freeze up when brand new ). It's $40 for the box set, if I buy them seperate It's $45. Has anyone noticed better manufacturing quality in the singles over the box set? Has anyone had trouble with the box set?

I have these in the box set and haven't had any problems with them. I mostly watch them on my blu-ray player though--not sure how they would play on my regular DVD player...probably the same. i watch the originals more than the SEs, but both play fine for me.

Any word about the OOT bluray set? Anyone think Luca$ will put the originals(unmolested versions) on bluray? Or is he gonna continue acting like a jackoff and deny us again?

It would surprise me if the saga comes out on blu ray in time to promote the live action series, though I highly doubt the movies will be sold individually. I'd also bet that the non-SE versions of the OT will never be released on BR. I just hope they update the CG stuff added to the OT.

They really need to redo that Jabba in the hanger in ANH. It was terrible.

Lucas announcement at C5 was the the OT boxed Blu Ray DVD set will hit next year. He said he was hoping it would make it this year...but it won't happen.
